Your total registration is the sum of several separate fees — some go to UYSA and other organizations, others stay with Cottonwood FC. Here's what each one pays for.
The Registration fee you pay to UYSA is your membership fee to US Youth Soccer and your insurance fee in case of injuries that occur during trainings, games, or UYSA sanctioned events.
The Legacy Field Project Fee is for the purchase of land to develop fields and complexes across the state to provide to Organizational Members registered with Utah Youth Soccer. Usage will be divided by percentage of club membership in each region. Read more →
The Gaming League Fee is for players competing in the Premier, SCL, IRL, & X-League. This fee covers the administrative costs of the league such as alignment, scheduling, transfers, and reviewing game results.
This co-op of clubs provides various services to our club, including home field and referee assigning.
Covers head coach compensation and licensing, referee fees, equipment, team- and club-wide events (including 1 ticket to an RSL match we attend together as a club), summer training camp, year-long field rentals, team use of the CFC Indoor Facility, a $25 gift card for CFC apparel, and other administration costs.
Uniforms are purchased through soccer.com — see your Team Manager for jersey number assignment and ordering instructions. Each player receives a $25 coupon for use at cfcgear.com.

Club fees are typically due at registration. Your Team Manager will communicate the exact payment schedule and any available payment plan options.
No — tryouts are completely free. You only pay fees after your player is placed on a team and you register via UYSA SportsAffinity.
UYSA charges an annual player registration fee (typically $30–$50 depending on age). This is paid through the SportsAffinity portal and goes directly to UYSA, not Cottonwood FC.

Club fees cover certified coaching staff, field permits at Butler Fields, training equipment, club administration, and team management support.
If your player is not placed on a team, no fees are due. Registration fees are only collected after placement and team assignment.
